Known as the OJ Simpson Rockingham House, aka the infamous home where OJ ended his televised police chase following the murders, this 6,000 square foot home on Rockingham Ave is no more. The Spanish-style residence, located near the end of a cul-de-sac, was built in 2005 and is owned by James Barnett, a friend of OJ’s and the one letting him live there at the time. Reporters spent a lot of time staked out by this gate waiting for O.J. This photo of O.J.'s sink was preserved before the building was knocked down. O.J.'s living room had cream-colored couches, big pillars, and several plants. It was big and beautiful, the perfect place to relax.

The backyard of the house is surrounded by a wooden picket fence and a low box hedge. It features a patio and Bart's treehouse, from which the "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween specials take their name. Occasionally, there is a hammock tied to two trees near the fence that borders Ned Flanders's backyard. The house's first chronological appearance is in the flashback episode "Lisa's First Word", when Homer and Marge purchase it. The house was auctioned to Ned Flanders in "No Loan Again, Naturally", and since then leased to the Simpsons. I'm not a Simpsons fan but your excellent review has really tempted me to buy it.

I find it strange that lisa's "mirror" is just a grey piece when there have been mirror effect stickers in sets before e.g. the VW camper. If you are a Simpsons fan, this set is an obvious winner. I am very happy with it, even given the cost, and am satisfied that justice has been done in the design of this iconic location. While there are certainly inaccuracies, they are acceptable in my opinion to keep costs down.

Let me start off by saying I know nothing about the Simpsons beyond their names and have never watched an episode in my life. Nevertheless, the quality of this set -- probably the best house LEGO has ever made -- made it a must-buy for me despite the high price tag. Inside one of the bathrooms is a shower curtain with hundreds of blue, red, yellow and green LEGO bricks. The theming stretches way beyond the curtain, however. The bathroom also includes a vase and flowers made up of LEGO bricks and even a toilet paper holder with a LEGO figurine. I'm sure someone will build one exactly like it is in the cartoon for all to see soon enough. I was a bit miffed at some piece selections though - like using two 1x4 tan tiles instead of one 1x8. There are a few of these head scratches and you notice them during the build.

Another reason is that if you like to MOC, adding stickers to some bricks takes away from using that certain piece. I like what Huw has done with this review and so far some of the other with not applying stickers. I just finished building this set myself, and it is amazing! Can't wait to read the rest of the review. One odd thing I noticed is that the Marge figure has a hole in the top of her hair for a hat or tiara on top. I haven't seen very many episodes of the show, so I don't really know what kind of variant she could have.

Like her brother she has two-colour plastic legs so it's a shame that her skirt obscures them. The A+ tile which comes with her is very suitable, and would be even better if we had a fridge downstairs to put it on. I originally looked at this and said to myself, yes I want this set.
This photo below is an updated shot of the residence, where lots of tropical trees have been added to cover the gate not far from where the bodies were found. The home boasts 4-bedrooms and 4-bathrooms as well as 4,148 square feet of living space. Much of the interior has been updated drastically since OJ left the home, especially in the kitchen. The home features 5-bedrooms and 6-bathrooms as well as a swimming pool and private putting green. OJ often filmed videos at the home as well as on the golf course that’s only a stone’s throw away from the property. On the landing, there is a hatch that leads to the attic. At the end of the film, the townsfolk and the family themselves rebuild the house in exactly the same manner as it was before, restoring the "status quo". The opening sequence and the couch gag of "He Loves to Fly and He D'ohs" shows the house still under construction, along with the whole town rebuilding after the events of the movie.
In the episode "Diatribe of a Mad Housewife", the painting has a plaque saying it was based on a scene from Moby Dick. In the Season 27 episode "Barthood", young Lisa is seen drawing the sail boat painting. In the episode "Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass", Homer destroys the painting over the couch and Marge retrieves a replica out of a closet. The painting is also destroyed by Lisa's guinea pig in "The War of Art" but it gets replaced with a replica made by a famous art forger.
